Our Executive Committee, comprising key shareholders, is responsible for the group’s vision and provides guidance on critical strategic and transactional decisions for new and existing businesses.
Dr. Nguyen Dang Quang is Chairman of the Masan Group.
He was highly instrumental in the establishment and development of many of our major portfolio and subsidiary companies. His vision is to make Masan an icon of Vietnam to the international business community. He is also Chairman of Masan Food Corporation, our food and beverage subsidiary, and First Vice Chairman of Techcombank, our banking portfolio company. Previously, he held other leadership and managerial positions at Techcombank, serving as Vice CEO, Vice Chairman and Advisor to the Chairman.
Dr. Nguyen Dang Quang received his doctorate degree in physics and post-graduate degree in financial management from Belarusian State University.
Mr. Ho Hung Anh is Vice Chairman of the Masan Group.
He is currently also the Chairman of Techcombank, our banking affiliate. Previously, he held other leadership and managerial positions at Techcombank, serving as Director, Vice Chairman and First Vice Chairman. He has a vision to make Techcombank the leading bank in Vietnam.
Mr. Ho Hung Anh has a degree in electronic engineering from Kiev Polytechnic Institute.
Mr. Madhur Maini is CEO of the Group and board member of the Masan Group, Masan Food and Techcombank.
Prior to joining the Masan Group, Madhur was head of Credit Trading, Principal Finance and Private Equity for Southeast Asia for Deutsche Bank.
Madhur has been in investment banking for 14 years at Merrill Lynch and Deutsche Bank in New York, Hong Kong and Singapore. He has extensive experience in Asia where he has a track record of building out various successful businesses for these
firms. Some of the positions he has held include Head of Malaysia investment banking, Head of Thailand investment banking, Head of Financial institutions and Head of M&A for Southeast Asia.
Madhur Maini is a graduate of the Management and Technology program at the University of Pennsylvania where he was a Benjamin Franklin Scholar. He received a B.S. in economics from the Wharton School, with concentrations in finance and a degree in engineering from the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences.
