Masan Group appoints new Chief Executive Officer

Ho Chi Minh City, 19 June 2020 – The Board of Directors of Masan Group Corporation (HOSE: MSN, “Masan” or the “Company”), today approved the resolution that Mr. Danny Le will be the new Chief Executive Officer (“CEO”) of Masan Group for the term of 2020 - 2025. This nomination will officially take effect from 19 June 2020.

Mr. Danny Le – the new CEO of Masan Group has a Bachelor’s degree from Bowdoin College, USA. Prior to joining Masan Group, Mr. Le advised financial institutions at Morgan Stanley, New York from 2006 - 2010, and worked with multinational clients to execute M&A, capital markets and privatization transactions.

After joining Masan Group in 2010, Danny is currently the Head of Strategy and Development for MSN. He has not only played a critical role in constructing the growth strategy of Masan Group, but has also executed M&A transactions to build the Group's strategic platform.

Dr. Nguyen Dang Quang – Chairman of Masan Group commented, “We often use the word "The Young" to talk about them.
