MASAN GROUP – VIET NAM’S TOP 10 PRIVATE ENTERPRISES BEST PROFIT IN 2019

    On November 6, 2019 at the National Convention Center, Vietnam Report in cooperation with VietnamNet Newspaper - Ministry of Information and Communications has announced Top 500 VietNam’s Best-Profit Enterprises (Profit 500) in 2019.

    Continuing good performance, Masan Group excelled to enter the Top 10 of the Vietnam’s 500 best-profit private enterprises in 2019 and Masan Consumer took the lead in the Top 10 prestigious food companies in 2019 - industry group: Packaged foods, spices, cooking oil. This is the third consecutive year that Masan Group and Masan Consumer were honored in these charts.


    In 2018, net profit after tax – NPAT of Masan was 4.916 trillion VND, increased 54% compared with the previous year, became the highest profit since listing. Masan Consumer, the consumer goods business of Masan Group, traded on UPCoM in 2018, achieved a profit after tax of VND 2.162 billion thanks to their growth in food and beverage. According to the Brand Footprint 2019 report (Kantar Worldpanel), for 7 consecutive years, Masan Consumer is among the Top 3 producers with the most chosen brands in urban areas (4 major cities) and rural areas.

    In the first 09 month 2019, revenue of Masan was 26.4 trillion VND. Revenue from MCH was nearly VND 12.6 trillion, revenue from MML was more than VND 10.1 trillion and revenue from MSR was nearly VND 3.7 trillion, accumulated net profit was more than VND 4.1 trillion. Masan Group expects a consolidated net revenue in the range of VND38-40 trillion for FY2019.


    The recognition is a motivation for Masaners to speed up and embrace our FY2019 target and come closer to the aspiration - "Becoming the pride of Vietnam".
